I know that I am not officially an Indian, but by virtue of having been married to Bill Young for 25 years, and getting to know so many of you, I feel like an "adopted" Indian!
I just wanted to represent him because he cannot represent himself. I feel blessed and honored to have been the one person with whom Bill chose to spend his life. He was my best friend, and the funniest person I have ever known. He enriched my life, the lives of his children, and the lives of so many others. He made a profound impact on all who knew him. He taught all of us about true courage and determination, and about living life In the Moment. He knew his time was limited, and didn't waste his Moments. Bill devoured life. He collected friends and shared himself. He helped to bring two remarkable young women into the world. He made us Laugh! He was bigger than life. His death left a huge void in the lives of all who knew and loved him, but his spirit still remains strong! So--Here's To Bill! Do something off the wall in his memory! I know he will be remembered by those of you who loved him and miss him. Let's face it...He's pretty unforgettable :)  Anita

Back in Baton Rouge since March, 2020, just in time to be quarantined alone for the first two months. Ben and I were together in Georgia living in a cute little cabin, enjoying retirement, but he got sick and passed away last September 13. We almost made it to 50 years February 2021, but we all loved each other for 49 years.

We had four children, 2 girls, 2 boys. We have 8 grands, 4 boys, 4 girls. 26, 22, 22, 18, 17, 13, 11 and 3!

Then, two months after I moved back home, a week before my son and youngest daughter were joining me in B. R., my son Andy passed away 4/27/2020. It's been a tough several months but I look forward to this virus getting controlled and life returning to a semblance of normalcy.

Life is a roller coaster ride. I look forward to seeing all of you other survivors at our special 51st reunion in April 2021!

I've been in Southern California since 1983/84, living in the Los Angeles area.  After receiving my Masters Degree in Music from LSU (1977) I spent the next 7 years singing/performing in Dinner Theatre, touring, DisneyWorld, SeaWorld, Opryland and finally moving to NYC; from there I performed on Cruise Ships for a few years traveling the Caribbean and the Mediterranean.  Fun times! but sooner or later I had to get a "real job".  I moved to the West Coast where I met my husband and went back to school and received my MA in Business Management.  I've been in the construction/development/property management field ever since.

Looking forward to seeing my friends from BR.

Gerald and I have been married 17 wonderful years. We live in Abbeville where Gerald practices general dentistry. I retired Sept. 09, & now have plenty of time to enjoy all my hobbies. Retirement is a wonderful life! I'm looking forward to visiting everyone at our reunion, as we celebrate life and all our blessings together!

I am proud to be an Istrouma High School graduate!
My husband Billy and I have been married for 39 years - whew! I don't even feel 39 years old!  We've lived in the Dallas metroplex area since 1972 - the metroplex is getting a little too big and congested for us, but we probably will never leave.
Billy is a high school teacher and loves it. He started teaching after being a police officer and in sales.  Teaching is his passion.
I work for Jack Henry & Associates, in the debit card/ATM industry.  I too love my job.
Our beautiful daugther Katy, 27 years old, is a Baylor University graduate.  She is commercial real estate management in Dallas.  She is single and still looking for the man God has prepared for her.
Our son Craig would have been 34 this year. He is in heaven after being killed in an automobile accident in 1993.
We are very involved in our church - First Baptist Church of Garland.
God has blessed us in so many ways.  We are always looking forward to what He has in store for us in the future.
(Sorry I will not be able to make the reunion.  I'm sure it will be loads of fun!)
